MY JOURNEY
Finding Purpose Through Pain
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent nearly a decade working in finance from 2013 to 2021. Like many of the professionals I work with today, I understand the pressures of high-performance environments, demanding expectations, and the challenge of balancing success with personal well-being.
In 2019, a significant health crisis changed the course of my life. After a hospitalization and an extended period of disability, I experienced firsthand the physical, emotional, and psychological challenges that can accompany chronic pain, depression, anxiety, grief, and identity loss. Navigating that chapter ultimately inspired me to pursue a new path centered on helping others through their own struggles.
I began graduate school at Seattle University in 2021 and have been practicing in-person and telehealth therapy since my clinical internship and practicum in 2023. After years of school and training, I became a fully licensed mental health counselor in 2026. Today, I work with teens, adolescents, and adults facing anxiety, depression, burnout, performance pressure, and diffcult life transitions.
My clinical approach is rooted in mindbody practices, CBT, and IFS. I use psychosomatic therapy to help my clients slow dow, pause, and reconnect with themselves.
I focus on working with teens and young adults who look like they’ve got things handled on the outside but are dealing with stress, anxiety, perfectionism, or feeling overwhelmed underneath.I also support people living with chronic pain or chronic illness, and how that impacts mood, identity, and day-to-day life.
Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic pain, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a space to slow down, reconnect to your physical , and move forward with greater compassion, confidence, and purpose.
